The Marlborough Public Library Foundation was established in 2002 to support good library services and programs and to raise funds for capital improvements and the growth of the Marlborough Public Library.

The Marlborough Public Library Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization registered with the IRS and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. All gifts are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

The Foundation is currently planning a capital campaign to raise funds for the renovation and expansion of the library. The Foundation has contracted with Financial Development Agency (FDA) of Amherst MA to assist with the campaign. Funds raised, along with a grant in the amount of $10,186,626 from the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners through their Construction Grant Program, will help offset the costs to the City.
