This month the Adult Book Club is reading… Neverhome by Hunt Laird.
“She calls herself Ash, but that’s not her real name. She is a farmer’s faithful wife, but she has left her husband to don the uniform of a Union soldier in the Civil War. NEVERHOME tells the harrowing story of Ash Thompson during the battle for the South. Through bloodshed and hysteria and heartbreak, she becomes a hero, a folk legend, a madwoman and a traitor to the American cause.””
The Book Club will meet Monday, July 16th at 6:30-8:00 p.m. OR Thursday, July 19th at 10:30 a.m. -12:00 noon in the Bigelow Auditorium. Feel free to join either session.
