DNA Results as a Research Option in Genealogy

Whether you’ve taken or are still considering a DNA test to determine your kinship with someone or trace your lineage, knowing how to work with the results you receive is crucial! Receiving the result is one thing, understanding them and using them as a research tool are totally different things. Join Seema-Jayne Kenney, a member of the Massachusetts Society of Genealogists, on Tuesday, September 18 at 6:30 p.m. for a lively talk about DNA Results as a Research Option.

Do you feel like dancing?

The Children’s Room has all kinds of fun events this week, where kids can let loose and boogie! On Thursday, September 6th at 10 AM, join us for Kiddie Time Song & Dance with Joe & Stephanie. This program is perfect for toddlers & preschoolers, but younger siblings are welcome as well. On Friday, September 7th at 11 AM, Dance Me a Story will be back at a new time. This popular program is an interactive story time that introduces literature through movement, music, and imagination.  Designed for children ages 2-6 years old, each session embarks children on a musical adventure centered around a popular fairy tale.  Both programs are drop-in and require no registration.
