Ballet and Creative Movement Class
Tuesday, July 17th @ 11 AM
Join Miss Kelly from Absolute Dance School in Marlborough, for a Ballet and Creative Movement Class! Class will include an introduction to ballet positions, stretching, plus movement games and skills. Children will also learn a short dance to music. Ages 3 and up.
Retro Rock ‘n Roll Poster Printmaking Workshop by Pop Up Art School
Wednesday, July 18th @11 AM
Join teachers from Pop Up Art School for a fun and educational art workshop! Workshop participants will learn two printmaking techniques: monoprinting and collagraphy. The printmaking results will be used to create a collage for a personalized statement poster in the style of retro rock ‘n roll posters. Open to ages 8-12. Space is limited and registration is required.
Ukulele Lessons with Julie Stepanek

Rubber Duckie Soap-Making Workshop by Kulina Soap Art

Getting little ones to wash their hands isn’t always an easy task, but that’s sure to change after they create their own rubber duckie soap! Folk artist Garine Arakelian will visit and show us how to make our own soapy creations using glycerin-based soap and adding colors, glitter and scents. (ages 6-11). Please pre-register.
Magic Show: “The Stupendous Mr. Magichead”

Join us for a free, nutritious lunch and LEGO playtime! Lunch is offered to children, ages birth to 18, on a first-come, first-served basis. If your child has dietary restrictions, please contact us in advance and we will do our best to accommodate them. This free child nutrition opportunity is offered in partnership with the Child Nutrition Outreach Program of Massachusetts.

Mother Goose on the Loose

Join Miss Jennie for an interactive lapsit for babies and young toddlers, birth through age 2. Enjoy stories, songs, rhymes and movement. Older siblings may also come. From 10:25 to 11 am we invite you to stay and socialize with other parents, caregivers and children.

Dance Me a Story

This 6-week series introduces literature through movement, music, and imagination. During each session, children will embark on a musical adventure centered around a popular fairy tale (ages 2-6, with a caregiver).

Panels & Pages: Graphic Novel Book Club

Join our graphic novel book club!. We’ll chat about this month’s book and enjoy a snack break! This month we’re reading Goldie Vance Vol. 1 by Hope Larson and illustrated by Brittney Williams. (For Grades 4+. Registration is appreciated.)
Sixteen-year-old Marigold “Goldie” Vance has an insatiable curiosity. She lives at a Florida resort with her dad, who manages the place, and it’s her dream to one day be the hotel’s in-house detective. When Walter, the current detective, encounters a case he can’t crack, together they utilize her smarts, skills, and connections to solve the mystery…even if it means getting into a drag race, solving puzzles, or chasing a helicopter to do it!
