Financial Literacy Guide

This subject guide is intended to help those searching for information on financial literacy. Financial literacy is the ability to understand basic financial tools and processes. People want to make good financial decisions that set them up for success both today and in the future, but not everyone knows the questions to ask, the information to gather, or the long-term effects of these decisions.

In order to facilitate your journey to financial literacy, the Marlborough Public Library is holding a series of classes on topics including budgeting, saving for college, understanding your credit score, and more. Financial literacy classes for people of all ages can be found on our library calendar. Select “Financial Literacy” from the “all events” dropdown to see upcoming events.
