Teacher and Library Partnerships

Teachers, thank you for your interest in working with Marlborough Public Library!  We believe teachers are very important and we want to support you and your classroom any way we can.  Below is the list of current partnerships, which you can mark in the Teacher Request Form. or send Christine Amatrudo, Teen Librarian, an email.  If you have another idea in mind, please let us know!

Class Visits, Book Talks, and Summer Reading
Want us to come to your class?  We’d love to share information on our databases and resources, facilitate book discussions, or promote our Summer Reading program. Have something else in mind? We’re happy to work with you and your students in whatever way we can.
Assignments
Is there a big project coming up?  Let us know in advance and we’ll do our best to strengthen that area of our collection.  Please send the assignment details to the Teen Librarian so we can find the most appropriate materials.
Books Needed for In-Class Projects
Would you like some extra materials on hand for a certain subject unit?  We are happy to gather the items and bring them to your classroom.

Student and Teacher Library Cards
Want your students to have access to the library, all of its materials, databases, and ebooks?  We can partner to get them their own library card.  If you haven’t yet made a Teacher Library Card, stop by the library today with your pay stub.  It’ll grant you 6 week check-outs and no late fines.
