The Teen Writing Competition is an annual event at the Marlborough Public Library.  Our judges are published writers and teen literature readers.  It is open only for teens in grades 6-12, who either reside in or attend a school in Marlborough, MA.

First Place:  $100 and publication on the library website
Second Place: $25
Third Place: Recognition

All participants are invited to the Teen Writing Competition: Winners In the Spotlight event, where the winners’ rankings are announced and prizes are handed out.  All winners are given the opportunity to read their work to the captive audience.  This event is open to the public.
