New Programs and Events

Are you ready for summer?! The Children’s Room is gearing up for another terrific Summer Reading Program. This year’s theme is Build a Better World!  With this in mind, we have pledged our support to the The Heifer Project by Heifer International, an organization committed to caring for the earth and ending world hunger by donating livestock to communities in need…and you can do your part simply by participating in our Summer Reading Program! Each time you submit a children’s program reading log, you contribute one point to our running tally. When we hit our goal of 1,000 points, the library will make a meaningful donation to The Heifer Project on behalf of our library community. You can register for the program starting June 1st on our website or in person at the Children’s Desk.

We’re going to have all kinds of special events every single week this summer, such as LEGO Lunch, Kids STEAM Lab, Sparky’s Puppets, Jungle Jim’s Minecraft Madness, a special Boston Bruins Blades visit and much, much more! Check our calendar for specific dates and times.
